Three people were rescued and taken to hospital after a van ended up in Pang Sua Canal on Aug 19.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to a road traffic accident near the junction of Bukit Panjang Road and Bukit Panjang Ring Road at around 1.10pm.
They added: "Upon SCDF's arrival, a van was in a large drain."
SCDF used a ladder to gain access into the drain and brought three people out to safety.
Two of them were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, while the third person was KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
Stomper Jon shared photos of the scene while rescue efforts were ongoing and said a bus had hit the van.
"The van lost control and dived into the canal," he said.
Stomp has contacted the police and the bus company for more info.
