Four foreigners were arrested in Jurong West during an inland enforcement operation by Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers on Dec 16.

One Indian man, one Filipina and one female Nepalese immigration offender, aged between 26 and 35, were nabbed for for overstaying offences.

"A 29-year-old male Indian harbourer was also arrested for allowing the offenders to reside in the unit without first checking that their immigration status in Singapore is legal," ICA said in a Facebook post on Dec 18.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that the three overstayers' social visit passes had expired and were suspected to be working illegally without valid work permits."
