23 cyclists seen in Punggol: Double whammy after 1 crashes and sends another flying
Two cyclists found themselves in a collision in Punggol, but netizens were largely unsympathetic.
SG Road Vigilante posted a video of the incident that occurred on the night of Sept 14, showing 23 cyclists riding across a traffic junction.
It is unclear if all 23 cyclists belong to one group.
According to the video caption, one of the cyclists ran over a rock and crashed his bicycle. He is seen being thrown off his bicycle, which sends another cyclist crashing.
Both cyclists can be seen picking up their fallen bicycles from the road.
The video captain also alleged that the cyclists had failed to keep to the maximum group size and maintain a safe distance.
Netizens were mostly unsympathetic towards the cyclists, with some even expressing glee over the collision in Facebook and YouTube comments.
One said, "Tour de singafall," in reference to the Tour de France, the most elite bike race in the world.
