21-year-old female dies in fatal accident along Jurong West Avenue 1, 41-year-old driver arrested

A 21-year-old woman died after an accident yesterday (June 7) at 9.07pm, along Jurong West Avenue 1 towards Jurong Town Hall.
Stomper Valerie happened to be passing by the scene and alerted us to the accident.
In response to Stomp's queries, the Police said in a statement that the accident involved a pedestrian, the 21-year old victim, as well a 41-year-old male car driver who was arrested in relation to the case.
The victim of the accident was admitted to the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
