20-year-old GrabFood rider taken to hospital after accident with taxi in Tampines
A 20-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a taxi in Tampines on Thursday afternoon (Oct 1).
The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident along Tampines Avenue 2 towards Tampines Avenue 1 at 3.41pm.
The 20-year-old rider, a GrabFood deliveryman, was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital.
Stomper Terence, a resident in the vicinity, shared photos of the accident scene.
In the photos, a man can be seen lying on the road. He appears to sit up afterwards.
A motorcycle and a GrabFood storage bag can also be seen lying nearby while a red taxi is stopped by the roadside.
Police investigations are ongoing.
