2 taken to hospital after accident involving 2 cars and 3 motorcycles on PIE

A 42-year-old car driver and a 48-year-old motorcyclist were taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars and three motorcycles along the Pan Island Expressway on Sunday morning (June 20).

Stomper Watson alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video of the massive jam that resulted.

In the video, four of the lanes on the expressway are blocked off and police and rescue vehicles are at the scene.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.46am.

A 42-year-old male car driver and a 48-year-old male motorcyclist were conscious when taken to the hospital, a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
