2 suffer minor injuries after lorry overturns at Tampines junction
A lorry overturned at a road junction in Tampines on Monday evening (Dec 19).
Stomper Khayzan had just alighted a bus and was on an overhead bridge when he spotted the accident at the junction of Tampines Avenue 2 and Tampines Street 22 sometime after 6pm.
He said: "A lorry overturned and blocked the entire road."
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the road traffic accident near Block 272 Tampines Street 22 at around 6.40pm.
Two people were assessed for minor injuries and both subsequently refused conveyance to the hospital.
