2 multi-vehicle accidents on Singapore expressways in 2 days, 24 people taken to hospital

Two multi-vehicle expressway accidents took place in two days with a total of 24 people taken to hospital.
The first on April 16 involved a taxi, two cars, and four trucks on the Tampines Expressway towards Seletar Expressway,
The police told Stomp they were alerted to the accident at about 11.05am.
A 59-year-old male taxi driver and 31- year-old female car driver were conscious when taken to the hospital.
The police were alerted to the second accident the next day at about 7.55am.
It involved at least 15 motorcycles, one van, one lorry and three buses on the Ayer Rajah Expressway towards Marina Coastal Expressway.
Twenty-two people were conscious when taken to the hospital.
Police investigations into both accidents are ongoing.
