2 Mercs end up boot-to-boot after accident at CCK junction, both drivers taken to hospital

Two Mercedes-Benz drivers were taken to hospital after their cars were involved in an accident at a Choa Chu Kang junction on Aug 30.

Stomper Azli shared a video of the accident's aftermath taken from a passing bus.

The video shows the two stationary vehicles boot-to-boot blocking the road. The front of both cars were severely damaged. A police and an ambulance had stopped nearby.

Other photos of the scene were also posted on the Friends of Yew Tee Facebook group.

In response to a Stomp query, the police were alerted at about 10.30am to the accident at the slip road of Kranji Expressway towards Bukit Timah Expressway at the junction of Choa Chu Kang Drive.

The two drivers, aged 44 and 63, were conscious when taken to the hospital.

Both are assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
