1 taken to hospital, 20 evacuated after fire at Home Team Career Centre
Twenty people were evacuated from Home Team Career Centre after a fire broke out on the building's first floor on June 6.
One person was conveyed to Singapore General Hospital after being assessed for smoke inhalation.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that they were alerted to the fire at 178 Neil Road at about 11.55am.
The fire, which involved a battery rack inside an uninterruptible power supply room, was extinguished by SCDF using a water jet.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
