If you think you are having a bad day, you should see what happened to an unlucky owner of a Rolls Royce.

According to Shanghaiist, a classy Rolls Royce Phantom was 'swallowed' by a sinkhole on a road in Harbin, China, on Oct 1.

The owner told the media that he was waiting at a traffic light when the tragedy occurred. He was about to accelerate when the road suddenly caved in.

The bonnet of the luxury car fell into the opening, rendering it immobile.

The owner said that the car cost him a whopping 5 million Yuan (S$1,023,137). The cost of repairs, however, is unclear.
