Migrant workers help bandage injured cyclist's head after accident

Migrant workers came to the aid of a cyclist who was bleeding from a head injury after being hit by a car, helping to bandage his wounds.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident happened around 10.25am on Oct 5.

Photos provided by Shin Min readers show a car with a slightly dented front parked in the middle of the road, with a bicycle lying nearby.

A man in shorts is seated on the ground as several uniformed migrant workers bandage his head with gauze. A white-haired man believed to be the driver is also pictured next to the car.

Investigations ongoing

According to the Singapore Police Force, a 29-year-old male rider was sent to the hospital in a conscious state. A 60-year-old male driver is assisting police with investigations.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said one person was sent to the National University Hospital.
