Unicorn Christmas Garden lands at Downtown East with bubbly fun foam parties at Wild Wild Wet
If you're looking for a family-friendly outing this school holiday, Downtown East in Pasir Ris is shaping up to be a one-stop spot for festive fun -- and Wild Wild Wet is where the action kicks off.
My twin boys wasted no time jumping straight into the foam party during the Unicorn Christmas Garden media preview, and judging by the squeals and laughter around us, so did every other child there.
The event started beside the Tsunami Pool, where the foam party kicked off with music, bubbles and excited kids everywhere.
The boys were completely absorbed, disappearing into the foam and popping back out drenched and grinning. Parents hung around the edges snapping photos while staff kept the area safe and controlled.
Unicorn floats have taken over the pools this festive season, making the usual rides feel even more colourful. We spent the afternoon exploring the park before washing up for the evening programme.
After cleaning up, we headed to Neptune Cove for a free outdoor screening of The Polar Express. Families lounged on beanbags under the evening sky, and snacks like unicorn cotton candy and rainbow popcorn kept the kids happy.
Movie nights happen on Nov 15, 22 and 29, and admission is free for day pass holders. It's a nice way to wind down after all the water play.

Beyond the water park, the rest of Downtown East is lit up for the festive season with the Unicorn Christmas Garden running from Nov 8 to Dec 31. The area features illuminated Christmas trees, themed decor and several activities for children.
