Woman helps herself to 'free' shoes at Blk 171 Toa Payoh Lor 1 -- and is caught on CCTV
Stomper Ita alerted Stomp to an incident of theft at her colleague's house at Blk 171 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 at around 3.34am today (Mar 10).
In the video that Ita sent to Stomp, a woman can be seen walking across the lift lobby towards the closed-circuit television (CCTV).
She then walks away, only to return some time later, and leans down to a shoe rack to pick up a pair of white shoes.
She inspects the white shoes carefully, before walking away from the area nonchalantly with them.
The shoes belonged to Ita's colleague's daughter.
In a phone interview, Ita's colleague said it was the second time she had experienced a theft at her house. In a previous incident, her husband's shoes had been stolen.
She said she had never seen the woman before, and added that her husband was intending to file a police report.
