Beware, Jurong East St 21 residents: There is a serial spitter on the loose
A Stomper alerted Stomp to an inconsiderate woman who spat food out of her second-storey window at Block 213 Jurong East Street 21 on Monday morning (Apr 17).
In the footage we received, a woman can be seen chewing on food from a green bowl before spitting it out onto the ground floor, much to the delight of pigeons.
Said the Stomper:
"The woman does this every morning.
"This is a serious case of littering and very disgusting.
"It is also a problem to all passers-by who walk past the block."
According to the Environmental Public Health Act, spitting in public is illegal and for first-time offenders, the offence carries a fine not exceeding $1,000.
