You'd probably walk all over this secret compartment -- not knowing it hid $12 million

What appeared to be flat ground in an apartment building in the South American country of Ecuador was opened up to reveal a huge space containing much more.

According to Acid Cow, $12 million in cash was discovered to be hidden in the apartment's floor and was part of a drug operation.

The finding was made in Guayas, a coastal province.

Authorities also arrested 11 people, as well as seized eight vehicles and three firearms.
