UNSW builds own version of Monopoly

Everybody remembers Monopoly from their early days.
UNSW Australia and its business school, AGSM (Australian Graduate School of Management) unveiled their own version of Monopoly.
The 'properties' were chosen from the school's iconic buildings and students' favourite spots around the campus.

The first of its kind - Students and academics worked closely with Monopoly to design new tokens and money notes with the Business School's logo and branding.
The UNSW Business School edition of the board game launched at the last UNSW Open Day generating buzz around campus with its Facebook Competition.
The challenge? Produce the most creative Business School Monopoly post.
The prize? The winners received the first UNSW monopoly boards ever created.
Marketing manager for UNSW Business School, James Lew, voiced, "Being the first in Australia is a great way to promote the UNSW Business School brand to our prospective target audience, especially those who don't know us.
There is an element of fun that we wanted to associate with our brand and student experience at the Business School, so we adapted and re-titled the 'Chance' and 'Community Chest' cards to 'Student Experience' and 'Alumni Networks'."

Asked if it will be a success, Business development manager Jason Cain said "I think it'll be received really well. This is going to be a way to bring people together and to showcase the school."
Following the trend, Australia had a public vote last year and is now in the process of creating a new Monopoly board featuring iconic landmarks from each state.
The noteworthy Sydney Harbour and a must-visit destination, the Great Ocean Road, are also expected to be included as one of the 'properties' on the board.
