Truck driver in China tears down road dividers -- just to make illegal U-turn
You've seen footage of drivers making illegal U-times, but we bet you've never seen one so blatantly irresponsible as this one.
In a video uploaded onto Youtube on Monday (Mar 13), a truck driver was caught running over metal road dividers along the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway -- just so he could make an illegal U-turn.
The incident, which happened at the start of the month (Mar 1), shows the driver and a man getting off the truck and dismantling the highway guardrail. The truck can then be seen driving across four lanes to the opposite side of the road, destroying the guardrails in the process.
According to the video description, the driver was fined RMB200 (S$40) and had 12 points deducted from his driver's licence.
