Brian Wong's wife gives birth at 58 after two rounds of IVF

Hong Kong actor Brian Wong and his wife Lilian Chan have shared photos of their younger daughter Gia, who is two months old.
The couple made the news in May when Wong, 58, announced on social media that Chan was pregnant with their second child at the age of 58.
Chan, a part-time muay thai coach, gave birth to Gia at CUHK Medical Centre on Aug 22. Wong and Chan announced the happy news via social media on Sept 6.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2010, also have a six-year-old daughter, Miracle, nicknamed Faye Faye.
Wong, who has acted in TVB dramas such as Witness To A Prosecution (1999) and Heart Of Greed (2007), is also a swimming coach and muay thai trainer.
On Oct 23, the couple uploaded on social media a photo of Wong with his two daughters and another of Wong and Gia looking at each other.
Many netizens commented on how adorable the two girls are and wished the family well.
The family of four appeared together on RTHK radio programme Those Were The Days on Oct 12. The show's host Candy Chea asked Wong if Chan had broken the Hong Kong record for oldest mother to give birth. He replied that his wife tied a record set many years ago in Tuen Mun Hospital.
The couple also told South China Morning Post in an Oct 2 report that they consulted fertility experts in Taiwan and underwent two rounds of in-vitro fertilisation in 2024.
Chan received injections twice a month in Shenzhen to help the foetus grow until a month before delivery, according to the Hong Kong newspaper.
Addressing public scepticism over them having a child at the age of 58, Wong said on Those Were The Days: "They may not have been understanding initially, but they've gradually become supportive of us after seeing the hard work we put in."
