# Woman in S’pore claims ex-boyfriend cheated on her with another man, received money for sex

A woman who ended a four-month relationship with a man she met on dating app Hinge after discovering he had allegedly been cheating on her with another man has taken to social media to expose what she described as his web of lies.

In a series of posts on X, user @hmmcheater shared what she called a public service announcement for women on Hinge.

She alleged that throughout what she thought was an exclusive four-month relationship, her then-boyfriend — whom she referred to as J — had been meeting another man, A, two to three times a week while receiving financial allowances and other forms of support from him.

She claimed their relationship also involved sexual encounters. Neither she nor A initially knew about the other.

According to the woman, she discovered she was being cheated on after A spotted a “couple photo keychain” of her and J and reached out to her.

When confronted, J allegedly insisted that he was straight and claimed he had engaged in paid sexual encounters to earn money to make her happy. He also told her that he hated the encounters.

The woman said he subsequently complained of feeling abandoned after she discovered the alleged deception and began distancing herself.

However, the woman said she subsequently learnt from A that J had not been inexperienced, even though J told her that it was his first time.

With the help of A, she also allegedly discovered that J had engaged in paid sexual encounters with another man, S, who was married with a son.

## Woman alleges ex-boyfriend lied about his past

Hmmcheater said she also got in touch with J’s ex-girlfriend, B, and uncovered more information.

According to her, J had claimed to have savings from working for his father for two years before university.

However, B told her that J never had a job and that she had paid for almost everything during their relationship.

The woman also accused J of making false claims about B’s sexual health. He told her B had HSV-2, a virus that causes genital herpes.

According to her, J, who lists his age as 24 on his Hinge and Grindr profiles, has having little ambition or any thought for the future. She claimed he spent much of his time indoor climbing or at the gym, when he was not with her or A.

When she and J later met for closure, and to hand over each other’s belongings, she said she asked him to get tested for sexually transmitted infections.

However, that allegedly made him furious. He said it was “a waste of money” and he has “better things to spend on now”.

## ‘He’s also a very good sweet talker’

The woman claimed that J was back on Hinge less than a month after their relationship ended, looking for his next “long-term relationship”.

She shared screenshots purportedly showing his Hinge profile, albeit with his faced concealed, with the warning: “Watch out if you recognise this profile”.

“Anyways, he is back on Hinge in less than one month after all that drama and fake remorse he was showing. So if you recognise these pics, be careful,” she wrote.

“He’s also a very good sweet talker and a massive compulsive liar,” she added.

“Countless times through(out) the two to three weeks of discovering the truth, he repeatedly said that he told me everything, only for me to find out more lies and BS, again and again. “

The woman’s account, shared on Oct 17 across 16 frames in four X posts, has garnered a combined total of more than 385,000 views and 2,300 reactions.

While there were relatively few comments, one netizen criticised the woman for her remarks about her ex-boyfriend’s sexuality.

“You can be upset at his actions but why so homophobic and judgmental about his sexuality?” the X user commented.

Stomp reached out to hmmcheater for more details, but she declined to comment.
