# Who needs a treadmill? Cheeky uncle mimics gym-goers from outside, cracks everyone up

A video of an elderly man playfully imitating gym-goers from outside has amused those inside the gym and netizens alike.

The clip, recorded from inside the gym and shared on Facebook page Singapore Incidents on Oct 25, shows the silver-haired man running on the spot as he faces and mimics those working out on treadmills.

He then slaps his forehead before turning around, jogging steadily and waving at those inside, who appear entertained by his antics as they wave back.

The video, captioned “Uncle trolling hard. Good 1, Uncle”, has so far racked up more than 59,000 views and 480 reactions.

The video was credited to someone named Cheryl, although it is unclear when it was filmed. The post also did not say where the gym was.

An on-screen caption reads: “POV: You’re dying on the StairMaster and you see this.”

## ‘So cute’

Netizens were tickled by the uncle’s antics, with several suggesting that his message to those in the gym was that he could do the same outside without paying for a gym membership.

“So cute! Uncle is telling them: Inside pay to exercise, outside is free to exercise!” said a Facebook user.

Another said: “Uncle says, ayoh I’m old but can do it outside fresh and more healthy, rather than do it inside the gym, and most of all its free lah hahahaha.”

Others simply cheered the silver-haired man on.

“He’s adorable and it shows how mindful and humorous he still is! Go uncle...” said a Facebook user.

“A healthy and jovial silver hair. We need plenty of them here,” another said.

Another jokingly suggested that the uncle’s little stunt might have some consequences when he got home.

“Auntie: ah lau, tonight you sleep outside,” said the netizen.
