# Mum confronts headmaster over alleged ‘I love you’ texts to 15-year-old daughter, lunges at him as he pleads forgiveness

*A Perak headmaster who allegedly sent inappropriate messages to a 15-year-old student has been temporarily transferred amid a probe.*

A video showing a mother angrily confronting a secondary school headmaster in Perak, Malaysia, has gone viral following allegations that he sent inappropriate messages to her 15-year-old daughter.

The footage, which is circulating on a popular Malaysian subreddit, shows the mother confronting the headmaster in his office, accompanied by another woman clad in a pink top.

The headmaster puts his palms together, appearing to plead for forgiveness as the mother continues to express her anger.

At one point, she hits him on the arm before lunging towards him, with the other woman stepping in to restrain her.

According to Malaysian media reports, the confrontation was reportedly sparked by allegations that the headmaster had sent the girl text messages including one that said “I love you”.

The allegations were also raised in a post on Threads, which also accused the headmaster of sexual harassment.

The Reddit thread has amassed at least 440 upvotes and 56 comments, including one that showed a certificate of the man’s appointment as headmaster.

## Headmaster temporarily transferred pending investigation

Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek said she had directed Perak’s education department to look into the matter, according to The New Straits Times (NST).

“The headmaster involved has also been temporarily moved to the Bagan Datuk district education office pending the completion of the investigation,” she said.

Located in Perak, Bagan Datuk is about 40 kilometres away from Teluk Intan, the district where the headmaster worked in before the probe.

The viral Threads post also called on authorities to take the matter seriously and ensure students’ safety.

However, Bagan Datuk district police chief Mohamad Ali said police had not received a report about the incident, according to a Sin Chew Daily report.
