Dancing man in Tampines becomes unlikely online sensation

A man spotted dancing at a mall in Tampines has drawn attention online, with netizens spotting him in different parts of Singapore.

User @matt.toraa posted a video of the incident on TikTok on Feb 4, garnering over 68,300 views and 6,800 likes.

In the 12-second clip, the camera zooms in on a man dressed in a bright orange shirt and black shorts, with a grey T-shirt wrapped around his head.

He appears to be dancing to an unheard beat, whipping his head back and forth and swinging the T-shirt around.

The TikTok user expressed confusion in the on-screen caption, asking what was happening at the scene.

Netizens report similar sightings

In the comments, netizens shared photos of the man, saying they had spotted him at the same location as well as at one of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) colleges.

Some images show the man by the roadside, while others capture the back view of what appears to be the same man in a food court.

Other users joked that "weird things always happens in Tampines Mart", while another called him a "fashion model".

"To be honest, I think he's doing the right things cause [sic] it's making people laugh," one netizen commented.
