Since Oct 28, readers have been greeted with a refreshed website designed to make stories easier to discover and keep them up to date with the latest happenings.

The revamped site features a cleaner, more modern design, bigger visuals, a layout that lets readers see more stories at a glance, and a new section highlighting the latest articles.

Here’s what you can look out for.

## More prominent homepage, cleaner design

One of the most significant changes is the repositioning of the “Editor’s Picks” section higher up on the homepage.

The section, which is among the site’s biggest traffic drivers, now takes centre stage, with larger images giving featured stories greater prominence.

The updated layout also allows readers to see more stories at a glance, without having to scroll as much, making it easier to catch up on the latest news and trending topics.

A new “Just In” section on the right-hand side of the homepage highlights the latest stories as they are published.

The overall design has also been streamlined to reduce clutter and make the site easier to navigate.

Content categories such as Singapore Seen, The New Paper, Deep Dive, Feel Good and Opinion have been reorganised, making it easier for readers to explore stories across different topics.

## Dedicated contest page, new video section

Readers can now find Stomp’s contests and giveaways in one place through a dedicated Contests page.

Simply click on the “Contests” tab at the top right of the website to see what’s up for grabs.

One ongoing contest is “Craziest Halloween Costumes”, which closes on Oct 31.

Share photos and stories of the craziest Halloween costumes you have seen or worn for a chance to win up to $100 in FairPrice vouchers.

As Stomp continues to expand its social media presence and produce more original content, a new video section has been introduced to showcase its growing collection of videos.

From trending stories and viral moments to original features and interviews, readers can now discover a curated selection of Stomp’s video content from Instagram, Facebook and TikTok all in one place.

The “Videos” tab can be found alongside the main categories at the top of the website, next to “Opinion”.
