65-year-old motorcyclist in coma after hit-and-run on KJE

A 65-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital unconscious after a suspected hit-and-run on Kranji Expressway at about 5.30pm on April 7.

The accident occurred on the KJE heading towards the Pan Island Expressway.

Shin Min Daily News reported that a motorcycle had collided with a pick-up truck and it led to a traffic jam on the expressway.

The pick-up truck fled the scene after the accident.

In photos shared by readers, the motorcyclist can be seen lying on the ground. He has on a fluorescent yellow jacket and his white helmet lies on the ground next to him.

The police confirmed they had received a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck.

A 65-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital and was in a coma.

Police investigation is ongoing.
