# 2 S’poreans who advertised Thai women’s sex services via messaging apps arrested in cross-border raid

*Two Singaporean men who allegedly advertised Thai women’s sexual services on chat groups were among four arrested in Thailand.*

Two Singaporean men and two Thai women have been arrested in Thailand for their alleged involvement in a transnational vice syndicate that recruited foreign women to provide sexual services in Singapore.

The operation on Sept 15 was conducted jointly by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Royal Thai Police (RTP).

A fourth syndicate member was subsequently arrested on Oct 21.

In a statement dated Oct 29, the SPF said the syndicate’s vice activities in Singapore had ceased following the operation, with its Telegram groups also shut down.

The two Singaporean men arrested were aged 42 and 46, while the Thai women were aged 33 and 37.

Assets worth more than 350,000 baht (S$13,400) were seized during the joint operations, including:

- Cash
- Bank books
- Bank cards
- Computers
- Mobile phones
- Property-related documents

## Syndicate allegedly operated since 2019

According to Thaiger, one of the Singaporean men, identified as Leow, 46, told Thai police that he had been sending Thai women to Singapore for sex work since 2019.

He allegedly worked with another Singaporean man, identified as Aaron, 42, to reach customers through Telegram, LINE and WhatsApp.

The report also named a Thai woman, Apaporn, 37, as Leow’s wife. She allegedly helped run the network’s online operations, find customers and arrange accommodation for the women in Singapore.

Two websites, 7th Heaven and 7th Heaven 2, were reportedly used to advertise these services as well.

Thai media further reported that a 35-year-old Thai man, identified as Pongsakorn, allegedly worked as an administrator, responding to customers and editing photographs of the women.

A 33-year-old Thai woman, identified as Nanthanee, denied involvement, saying she had lent out her bank account without knowing how it would be used.

The five individuals faced allegations including procuring women for prostitution, running and profiting from prostitution, advertising sexual services, money laundering and participation in a transnational criminal organisation.

## SPF to continue working with international partners

From Oct 2025 to Sept 2026, anti-vice operations in Singapore led to the arrest of 19 vice workers allegedly managed by the syndicate under the Women’s Charter 1961.

Their arrests provided investigators with leads on the group’s operations.

The SPF’s Specialised Crime Branch and the RTP’s Technology Crime Suppression Division worked together to identify the syndicate members and coordinate the arrests.

The SPF said it would continue working with international law enforcement partners to disrupt transnational vice syndicates and bring those involved to justice.
