Race 1 (1,000m)

(2) EASY TIGER impressed on her debut win. She showed signs of inexperience but quickened when she needed to.

(3) GLASTONBURY won a good race on debut when quickening late to beat (1) CAROLINE ISLAND. Glastonbury will have learnt from that experience and will not go down easily. Caroline Island won her second start and should fight it out again.

(8) REJUVENATE should also get involved with the finish.

Race 2 (1,200m)

(1) TRIPPING THUNDER ran a lovely race on Jan 18 behind his stablemate. He stayed on strongly for second. Blinkers stay on, and he should go very close.

(2) CHASINGTHERAINBOW ran a much better race last time behind Circumbendibus when third. Improving and must be respected.

(5) IMOKELLY improved in his second start, running fourth in a competitive race. He looks like the type that will keep improving.

(10) WAVE OF GLORY is very speedy, he could bounce back to his best form at a decent price, include him in all bets.

Race 3 (1,160m)

(4) WINDS OF CHANGE returned from a break to win as expected and can follow up.

(2) THE SPECIALIST has been a let-down of late but loves the straight. Can fight out the finish.

(1) GRAND CRESCENDO has shown ability but might need this run returning from a break.

(3) KIA KAHA has been consistent and can get involved with the finish again.

Race 4 (1,600m)

(5) FUTURE TURN is as honest as they come, he ran a fair second last time behind Promettere. There should be no excuses; he will be right there in the finish.

(7) RULE OF THUMB can certainly win quite easily with no weight on his back if things work out.

(6) PREVALENCE should enjoy the drop back in trip to 1,600m. On his best form, he always has a good each-way chance. Include him at a decent price.

(8) HAT'S PRIDE will need some luck in running from a tricky draw, he could sneak into the quartet.

Race 5 (1,600m)

(1) MOUNTAIN HIGH has been runner-up in his last four starts. A switch to jockey Gavin Lerena could pay dividends.

(3) UP THE ANTE has improved with each run and would not be a surprise winner.

(2) THE MIGHTIEST showed improvement last time but this may be a tougher field.

(11) HOLLYWOOD MADAM was not disgraced on debut and could do even better at this distance.

Race 6 (1,600)

(1) RICH FOLKS HOAX ran on strongly from a long way back in his last start behind Kebonalesedi. He was only beaten just under two length. Now that he gets a good draw, he should go very close to winning.

(4) ICONIC DESTINATION has two very good seconds in succession, he steps up in trip now. With some luck in running, he could be very dangerous in the finish.

(7) KEBONALESEDI fought hard to win a good race on Jan 11. He was given four points for that.

(3) OKAVANGO won his maiden in style, beating Cosmic Rhythm by just over four lengths. He is still improving and must be respected from a good draw.

Race 7 (1,600m)

(1) SPIRITO SELVAGGIO did not show his best last time but is capable of bouncing back to score.

(4) APACHE CHIEF is knocking on the door. Winning chance.

(3) SPY STORY has improved and can get involved with the finish.

(2) SNOW MOON is consistent and clearly not out of it.

Race 8 (1,800m)

(9) GROOVEJET has won his last two races with absolute ease. Unfortunately, he draws wide and he carries a big weight. He is still improving and he has a good turn of foot, include him in the play.

(1) HAPPY DAYS ran a fair race from a wide draw on Dec 18. The yard think highly of this colt and, from a good draw, he must have a big winning chance.

(3) KWITE A KING powered home last time to run second behind his stable companion. He now gets a nice pull in the weights with Groovejet. He can certainly win this race if everything works out.

(7) GENTLEMAN JOE is consistent and must be included in all bets, his form is very good.

Race 9 (2,400m)

(3) RAISEAHALLELUJAH is at his very best over further but remains in good form. Can win such a race.

(1) ZEUS was not disgraced in the Summer Cup and this course is a happy hunting ground for him.

(4) MARAUDING HORDE has been a disappointment of late but is not out of it.

(2) CRIMSON KING may have needed both his recent starts and could show vast improvement.

Race 10 (1,400m)

(3) FAMILY POWER will enjoy the drop back in trip to 1,400m. Grant van Niekerk knows her well. She will go very close to winning this competitive race.

(2) INDUSTRIALSTRENGTH is a lovely looking colt that is packed with ability. There should be no excuses for him from a good draw.

(14) DEVIL A SAINT has dropped in the ratings. On his day, he can be a strong front runner. Unfortunately the draw will make life tough for him, but he could get to the front and be hard to catch late.

(11) SWIATEK never runs a bad race. She is consistent and must be included into all bet types.

Race 11 (1,600m)

(3) LET'S GO NOW has not won for over a year now but is weighted to do well and can bounce back into the winner's enclosure.

(4) WILLY MEET AGAIN may have tasted defeat last time but she is improving and she would not be a surprise winner.

(6) HAPPY MO has a place chance.

(1) BEATING WINGS is talented and will not go down without a fight for top honours.

Race 12 (1,000m)

(3) BLUFF ON BLUFF quickened very well to win going away on Dec 28. The form of that race has worked out well.

(7) BARNEY MCGREW justified strong market support to win a nice race on Jan 15, even though he is seven years of age.

(4) UN BEL DI should be cherry-ripe to run a cracker, he needed his first two runs back from a long rest. If he has made the necessary improvement back home, he could be hard to beat.

(2) ALL ABOUT AL never runs a bad race, he could sneak into the places on his best form.

Race 13 (1,400m)

(3) COUNT INVICTO has won three of his four starts under Craig Zackey, who is not aboard this time, but he can still score.

(5) FRANCINE is improving and is clearly not out of it.

(6) MISS HANNIGAN is holding form and has a winning chance.

(2) LEAD THE CHARGE is consistent and should be in the placings.

Race 14 (1,200m)

(9) GOLDEN DESTINY finished like a train to win a top race on Jan 25. He was switched off early and produced at the right time by Zackey. With a similar performance, he will be tough to beat.

(12) SOOTY can be a tricky customer. His last run when finishing second behind Kelp Forest was a good performance. If he gets some cover early and the gaps open at the right time, he could certainly win a race like this.

(5) TOUGH TERRAIN has been in good form lately. He likes to be held up early and he then comes with a storming run late.

(7) CAPTAIN'S DESTINY always has a money chance. Her form is good, she can pop up.

Race 15 (1,160m)

(3) SAKHALA IS'CATHULO did not show his best last time but could bounce back to win a race like this.

(4) PRETTY PRECIOUS took a long time to get out of the maiden ranks, but she may well follow up after an easy last win.

(6) SAMOA can get involved with the finish yet again.

(1) THE NAVY LARK is consistent and not out of it.

Race 16 (1,200m)

(11) TENANGO quickened up really well to win a good race on Jan 4. He is a talented sprinter who is still improving. He will be right there in the finish again.

(9) CAPTAIN WEST needed his last run over 1,400m, he should tighten up quite a bit from that run and he will love the drop in trip, include him into all bets.

(8) ARCTIC WIZARD travelled strongly in the lead last time and just got run out of it late by Gem King. He is a smart colt with a magnificent action, he could be the horse they all need to fetch, watch him closely.

(1) OLIVER is much better than his last run. He drops back in trip again and should be running on strongly.
