Race 1 (1,600m)
(4) CHEERFUL CHARLIE B has improved with each run. He was runner-up over this course and distance in January.
(1) ALWAYS SHINING showed a form return when an unlucky loser last time. Deserves a first win.
(2) ASINANTANGA makes his local debut and can surprise.
(3) MASTER INCOLOR could show vast improvement making his local debut.
Race 2 (1,900m)
(1) ONO NO KOMACHI looked a bit unlucky not to win on local debut. This does not look any stronger. She should go one better.
(5) WELSH STARLET was a bit of a disappointment last week but could do better this week.
(3) ANGEL OF MY HEART and (4) ACCUMULATE are battling to shed their maiden tags but they can still fight out the finish.
Race 3 (2,000m)
(2) LOTUS ISLAND impressed on local debut with a very easy maiden win. That was on the Polytrack but she has been fair on the turf and can follow up.
(1) DARLING HARBOUR tends to lack a strong finish but has a place chance in this line-up.
(6) MILLENNIUM DANCER and (8) GALAXY MOMENT like the turf and are not out of it.
Race 4 (2,400m)
Removal of blinkers has brought the best out of (1) NOTHINGELSEMATTERS. He can win again.
(4) PUERTO PLATA has been beaten by rivals he should have beaten. He can bounce back and be a real threat this track and distance.
(9) GARDENER'S PRIDE should like this longer distance and would not be a surprise winner.
(11) SAN QUINTIN can get involved with the finish.
Race 5 (1,600m)
(8) GRANDIOSA makes her local debut and should be a threat.
(3) MASTER FORESTER impressed with blinkers on at last handicap win. He can double up.
(12) POTENT CAPTAIN has improved of late and can contest the finish again.
(7) SILVER TYCOON is in good form and has a winning chance.
Race 6 (1,400m)
(1) KHAYA'S HOPE was touched off by a rival he should beat easily but it at least indicated he is not over the top.
(3) LUNA HALO has a very good record under jockey Richard Fourie. Not without claims.
(2) BUSH TRACKER likes this distance and is not out of it.
(7) PYROMANIAC showed vast improvement last time and can also contest the finish.
Race 7 (1,400m)
(3) WALKONTHEWILDSIDE has not repeated her debut run in her next two starts but her first try on the turf is eagerly awaited.
(2) MS PATTY was a well-backed winner on local debut, so could have more to offer.
(11) SKY VELOCITY can fight for minor money.
(1) LIGHT OF DAY showed improvement last time and can be very competitive this time.
Race 8 (1,000m)
(10) RAVILIOUS was a let-down last time but this course and distance does suit.
(11) WORDSWORTH is threatening to win a race and is an obvious inclusion in all bets.
(13) GREENLIGHT EXPRESS seems better than his performance last week and could be the surprise package.
(6) STRATA has her first run for trainer Alan Greeff and can improve.
