A wooden sauna room caught fire on the second floor of a building at 20 Camden Park on Saturday morning (June 10), said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

Stomper Luke shared a video of flames coming out of the pavilion-like structure next to The Japanese Association at Adam Road.

The video was taken from a Grab car as it turned into Camden Park.

Another video of the fire was also posted on TikTok, which mistakenly identified the building as a temple.

In response to a Stomp query, SCDF said it was alerted to the fire at about 8am.

"SCDF extinguished the fire using a water jet. There were no reported injuries," added SCDF.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
