Two women brought open cans of beer on board a public bus and one was caught on camera drinking from her can.

Stomper Anonymous shared a video of the woman taking a swig of her Diablo lager on SBS Transit bus service 7 on Nov 23.

"This was a bus ride from Guillemard Road to Holland Village," said the Stomper.

"There were two ladies who boarded the bus carrying two open beer cans. This lady in the video, who was drinking, drank her can three to four times throughout her ride.

"They alighted at Scape, where I assume they are going to the concert To Jam With Love at the Youth Park."

SBS Transit states on its website: "Do not smoke, eat, drink or litter in the bus."

While drinking on the MRT train is punishable with a $500 fine, there is no penalty for drinking on public buses.
