What's that? Unidentified creature spotted swimming in Serangoon River
Stomper Khun came across a creature swimming in the Serangoon River along Hougang Avenue 7 yesterday (Sep 23) at about 6pm.
In a video he shared with Stomp, the creature can be seen slowly moving forward on the surface of the water.
"I was riding on my scooter along Serangoon Park Connector when something in the river caught my eye," Khun said.
"It had a weird body structure.
"I thought this was definitely not a fish.
"It was also not a monitor lizard, as they move in a wriggling body motion when in the water.
"When I left after a few minutes, it was still swimming in the river."
