If even chickens can obey traffic rules, what excuse do the rest of us have?
A Stomper alerted Stomp to a TikTok posted by @singaporebuses featuring a rooster sensibly using a pedestrian crossing to get to the other side of Henderson Road.
The caption reads: ""Even chickens in Singapore have a sense of urgency when corssing the road... what about you hoomans (sic)?"
The video has since garnered over 660,000 views.
The clip has amused Singaporean netizens with some proudly commenting: "Singapore chicken so smart."
Others pointed out that not all chickens are so rule-abiding with one TikTok user sharing: "In Pasir Ris, chickens tend to take their own sweet time and we have to wait."
The Stomper who shared the video said: "Maybe we can learn a thing of two from this rooster, like being attentive to road conditions, obeying traffic lights and not looking at the phone while crossing!"
