Van nearly hits group of workers crossing road at Jurong Island
A group of workers were nearly run over by a white van at Jurong Island.
Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to footage posted on SGRV's Facebook page showing a white van barrelling through the crossing, nearly running into pedestrians.
In the dashcam footage recorded on April 14 at 6.18am, the green light is in favour of motorists.
Some of the workers can be seen walking forward before quickly stepping back as the van approaches.
Another worker is seen jumping forward after realising the car is coming.
According to the post, the pedestrians are believed to be staff of ExxonMobil.
One Facebook user reminded the driver to slow down, while another used the incident to remind pedestrians to remain vigilant when crossing roads, no matter what.
