After US singer Madison Beer covered one month's rent for a Singapore nail salon, her mother, Tracie Beer, posted on Instagram that she was so proud of her "love bug".

The 25-year-old performer was in the Lion City for her concert at Singapore Expo on Aug 22 evening.

On the morning of the concert, Madison messaged Edens' Atelier nail salon on Instagram, requesting to get her nails done.

Miss Hazel Wah, who operates the salon, posted on Instagram that the singer was "genuinely so kind, so friendly".

Miss Wah wrote: "We chatted loads and I explained how the Instagram story she posted for us really helped our predicament."

The predicament being the financial straits the young entrepreneur was in with her nail salon.

"I lost over 20k trying to maintain the rent, electricity bills, salaries and many more as I've been financially independent since I was 18. It was a lot for me to handle as 20k is a huge loss for me at the age of 21," explained Miss Wah in her post.

And then Madison entered her life.

"She was so so so generous," said Miss Wah.

"She paid me for the sets she did and helped me out with my rent for the month. She didn't mention anything about it and just got her agency to drop me a PayNow before just informing me that she covered my rental for me. I truly used up all the luck I had in me."

Miss Wah share a screenshot of an Aug 23 PayNow transfer of $3,460 with the caption: "I was seriously just in awe that she was even giving me a chance to do her nails. I still can't comprehend the fact that she PAID FOR MY RENTAL!!!"

Madison's mother Tracie read about her daughter's good deed and posted on Instagram on Aug 24: "So proud (of) you, my love bug @madisonbeer."
