A Toyota Corolla and a Porsche Macan ended up in a standoff on a narrow road in a Kovan private estate on Sept 16 afternoon.

Stomper GP, who was in another car, shared dash cam footage of the incident at Poh Huat Road near the junction with Kang Choo Bin Road.

The video first shows a Mercedes-Benz squeezing between the Porsche and a vehicle parked on the road side.

The Toyota was behind the Stomper when she encountered the Porsche in front of her and she slowed down to allow the Porsche to go through first.

"The Toyota sounded its horn at me when I tried to stop to give way to the Porsche from the opposite direction, which had right of way," recounted the Stomper.

"The Toyota crowded me to the side. So I had to squeeze through."

Because of the parked vehicle, the Toyota did not follow the Stomper as it might not have been able to squeeze through like the Stomper did.

The end of the video shows the Stomper leaving the Toyota behind to face off against the Porsche.

"I don't know how the standoff was resolved," said the Stomper.

"So many drivers who supposedly have a licence drive haphazardly and break laws. Hopefully, the authorities can clamp down on them."
