Sukiya diner loses appetite after seeing 'big chunks of mould' on chopsticks at Somerset outlet
A diner was horrified to find mouldy chopsticks at Sukiya's 313 @ Somerset outlet.
Stomper Carol had ordered a $6.20 beef bowl rice set for lunch at around 1.06pm on Jan 8.
She recounted: "When my food arrived, I happily took out a pair of chopsticks from the self-service box and was STUNNED by what I saw! Big chucks of mould on the chopsticks!"
Carol said the mould was not just on a pair of chopsticks but on "many others" too.
She added: "I was disgusted by the sight of the mould and almost lost my appetite! I wonder if the restaurant chain checks their condiments and utensils regularly to maintain overall cleanliness."
Stomp has contacted Sukiya for more info.
