Stomper spots modified e-bike 'pretending' to be motorcycle on CTE

A man was seen riding an e-bike along the Central Expressway (CTE) on Feb 22.

A Stomper said he spotted the rider at about 2.13am, after the Moulmein exit.

The rider is seen wearing a white motorcycle helmet and has a food delivery bag mounted on the back of his device.

It is noticeably missing a licence plate.

"E-bike pretending to be motorbike," the Stomper said.

According to the Land Transport Authority (LTA), e-bikes are allowed to travel on cycling paths and on the road but are prohibited from travelling on expressways.
