Stomper sees Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan on MRT: 'He smiled at me'
Stomper Lau Lup spotted Mr Khaw Boon Wan, the Minister for Transport and Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure, travelling on the MRT train last Friday (Aug 25) at around 6.30pm.
The Stomper alighted at Ang Mo Kio MRT Station on the North-South Line -- but not before Mr Khaw smiled at him.
Lau Lup said: "I saw someone whose figure and side profile looked very familiar and realised it was Minister Khaw Boon Wan.
"At first, only three of us noticed him. A woman also walked towards him and took a picture.
"He was talking to another commuter but smiled at me as I was about to alight the train, probably because he noticed that I was filming him."
