Stomper sees 2 vans allegedly speeding on Bartley Road East, one later crashes into side of road
Two vans were caught on camera allegedly speeding on Bartley Road East before one of them ended up crashing into the side of the road.
Stomper Sharnice shared dashcam footage of the incident, which took place on July 7 minutes before midnight.
"My husband was behind this black car going towards Bartley viaduct," said the Stomper, referring to the video.
"As the tail lights of black car light up - you will see two vans first a white van, then a silver van - speeding past the front of the black car caught on our camera."
Later, after the Stomper's car turned into the same road the vans were on, the vehicles in front of them started to slow down.
"Less than 500m down Bartley Viaduct, evidence that the white van had crashed into the side of the road was visible. The same silver van was behind the white van," said the Stomper, who then made a discovery.
"You will see that there were actually two more other vans in front of the two vans caught speeding on our camera, which leads you to suspect that there could have been altogether four vans travelling together on that same route at that same time."
She added that people got out from the stationary four vehicles and directed traffic around the vans and the debris from the accident.
"They could have really killed somebody other than themselves," lamented the Stomper.
"I'm hoping to help drive home the message that people stop their evil deeds and learn to treasure their own lives, even if they don't wish to spare a thought for the lives of others."
Stomp understands that the police were alerted to the accident, but when they arrived, the vans were gone.
