# Sengkang resident concerned parcels were left at void deck ‘for days’, Ninja Van says that was not the case

A resident grew concerned after he saw piles of parcels at the void deck of block 307A Anchorvale Road in Sengkang.

The Stomper initially paid the parcels no heed when he first noticed them at about 6.30pm on Oct 13.

At the time, he also spotted someone near the lift lobby who appeared to be a delivery man with a trolley full of boxes and parcels.

Thinking the man would sort the parcels before delivering them to residents in the vicinity, he took no action.

However, when he returned at about 6.20pm on Oct 15 and saw “even more parcels”, he decided to snap some photos.

He told Stomp: “I noticed a large number of Ninja Van parcels being illegally dumped under my HDB block for days.”

The resident noted that the parcels were all addressed to recipients around Anchorvale Link and Anchorvale Road.

Asked if he had tried reporting the matter to Ninja Van, he said: “Their contacts are those AI bots, so I gave up.”

## What Ninja Van says about the Sengkang delivery dispute

In response to a Stomp query, a Ninja Van spokesperson clarified that the parcels were delivered to their recipients on the same days the resident spotted them at the void deck.

“Our records show that the parcels were delivered to the recipients on the days they were dropped off, on 13 and 15 Oct respectively, and were not left at the void deck for several days.”

When Stomp visited the block on Oct 22, there were no parcels at that particular spot, and the void deck was empty.

Nevertheless, the spokesperson stressed that leaving parcels unattended in open common areas was against company protocol, regardless of how long they remain there.

“We have spoken to the driver concerned, reiterated the proper procedures, and put him through additional training,” said the representative. “We will also continue to monitor deliveries to this location.”

Ninja Van thanked the resident for bringing this matter to its attention and apologised for any concern caused.
