Rusty screw in nasi lemak bought from Bengawan Solo: Supplier has 'no clue' where it came from
Where did it come from?
A rusted 1cm screw was found in a packet of nasi lemak bought from a Bengawan Solo outlet at West Mall in Bukit Batok on Nov 5.
A Stomper shared photos of the screw on the wrapping paper with a Asian Catering Services sticker. A receipt shows he paid $2.50 for the food.

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Asian Catering Services said: "We received the call from the customer on that day.
"We are investigating and we also have no clue where the nail came from."
She added that an officer from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) visited Asian Catering Services premises on Nov 7 to investigate.
When contacted by Stomp, SFA confirmed that it is investigating.
SFA said members of the public who have concerns about food safety practices by food operators should report to SFA via the online feedback form.
The agency added: "SFA takes a serious view towards food safety and will investigate all feedback alleging poor food safety practices.
"As part of the enquiry and gathering of evidence, SFA may engage the feedback provider for more details and will not hesitate to take enforcement action if sufficient evidence has been obtained."
