Roosters ruffle feathers at busy Bukit Merah junction -- and get 1.4 million views
A pair of roosters were seen ruffling feathers at the junction of Tiong Bahru Road and Lower Delta Road.
Stomper Mike alerted Stomp on July 19 to a TikTok video of the scuffle that was posted by user @daniwolfsbane1994.
The video was posted on June 11 under a viral audio titled "Altercation," in which users post animal altercations, and has garnered over 1.4 million views to date.
In the video, the two roosters can be seen pecking and dodging each other's attacks.
A motorcyclist subsequently rides towards the birds, who are still in the midst of their tussle. He brakes in the middle of the junction to avoid hitting the birds.
Some netizens speculated that the birds were fighting over a "girlfriend."
Others joked about fried chicken from fast food restaurants.
"Crispy chicken vs original chicken," one commented.
Another wrote: "Alamak... SG chicken also road rage 😅".
