Punter picked 1st prize-winning 4D numbers in S'pore and M'sia on same day, but they were sold out
A punter missed out on the top 4D prize in both Singapore and Malaysia on the same day because numbers were sold out
Xiahongshu user Little Sweet Potato shared a photo of a Singapore Pool betting slip for the Feb 23 4D draw with 10 numbers running consecutively from 6660 to 6669.
He said in the comments: "I really don't know why the number 6669 popped up in my mind."
The punter explained: "I bought 666R. So the numbers were automatically generated, but one number was sold out."
The number that was sold out was 6666, which happened to be the first prize number for that day's draw.
He wrote in the caption: "Speechless. What else can I say?"
Fortunately, he also picked 6669 for the Toto 4D draw in Malaysia on the same day and the number won the first prize there.
Unfortunately, he shared a photo of the betting slip, which showed that 6669 was sold out when he tried to buy it.
How can someone be so lucky and yet so unlucky?
