Otter feasts on koi in Capital Tower fountain during lunchtime spectacle
An otter was spotted helping itself to a buffet of koi at the fountain outside Capital Tower at Robinson Road on March 20.
Stomper Lena, who witnessed the scene during lunchtime, shared a video of the unexpected feast.
"This is the first time I've seen this!" she said.
In the video, the otter can be seen swimming in the fountain, appearing to snack on the koi.
The video pans to some koi swimming nearer to the Stomper, seemingly unaware of the threat of becoming the otter's next snack.
Otters have become a familiar sight in Singapore's urban areas, often venturing into ponds and fountains in search of food.
While their antics may be amusing to some, others have raised concerns about the impact on expensive ornamental fish.
