Numerous trees fell by the road near Block 990A Jurong West Street 93.

Stomper Tom spotted the fallen trees on May 4 at 8am.

According to him, no landscaping activity was happening at the time.

"My view is wear and tear, but I think the top was very heavy, and the trunks were very old, so they collapsed," he said.

"There are also a few trees around that look like they are going to collapse soon."

Tom said cleaners had moved the fallen trees aside.

"As a member of the public, I told them to move it to one side. They don't need to pull the trunks and hurt themselves.

"That day was a Sunday, so there was not much movement and cars," he remarked.

"On normal days, it would be dangerous, as beside the block there is a 24-hour prata shop.

"I just tried to do my part as a former Pioneer Zone 3 residents' committee member."
