In one of the videos, the TikToker said they had checked CCTV footage and noted the dog was left at the pet parking station at 5pm.

They arrived at the mall for dinner at 7.30pm and left at 8.30pm, while the dog's owner only returned at 9pm. The exact location of the alleged incident is unclear.

They added that a report had been lodged to NParks, which was able to retrieve the owner's phone number from the dog's collar.

'Irresponsible owner'

The posts drew strong reactions from netizens, who filled the comment section with concern and frustration.

"Irresponsible owners are getting called out," one said, while many noted that the dog looked "stressed" and "sad". "

While some netizens suggested that more malls in Singapore should be pet-friendly, others emphasised that the issue was not about facilities, but about "neglect".
