Motorist encounters bunch of traffic cops with speed guns on Bartley Viaduct: 'Quite funny, yet scary'
Imagine the shock of a motorist driving around a bend and seeing this.
A group of about a dozen Traffic Police officers with speed guns were caught on camera on the side of the road on Bartley Viaduct.
Stomper Ben alerted Stomp to the video on TikTok, which has the caption: "Traffic Police on job training at Bartley flyover... Have to expect more snipers soon all over Singapore."
"This is quite funny," said the Stomper.
"Yet scary," added a commenter on the video.
Another pointed out: "This action is so dangerous. Doing this at the bend may cause drivers to temporarily lose focus and crash."
Someone else commented: "Can get a heart attack seeing this suddenly."
A version of the dashcam video was also posted online by SG Road Vigilante.
The incident purportedly happened on Oct 21 at 10.21am.
Some netizens likened the video to a computer game glitch while the traffic cops reminded others of bowling pins.
