Motorcyclist rides with PMD and PAB riders as 'escorts' along Sungei Road and ECP

A motorcyclist was recorded on video riding along with several other personal mobility device (PMD) and power-assisted bicycle (PAB) riders along roads in Singapore.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

In the video, the group is seen riding along Sungei Road and even on the East Coast Parkway (ECP).

Netizens have slammed the riders for giving a bad reputation to other PMD and PAB users who use such devices for work and follow the road rules.

Many are calling for the authorities to take action against them.

Under the Active Mobility Act, PMDs are not allowed on roads.

Offenders, if convicted, can be fined up to $2,000 and/or jailed for up to three months.
