A minivan caught fire along Pasir Ris Drive 6 on Tuesday morning (Oct 23).

Stomper Fauzi contributed a photo that shows the vehicle with its front bonnet slightly charred. A fire engine can also be spotted at the scene.

Responding to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a fire involving the engine compartment of the minivan at 10.28am.

The fire was extinguished by the SCDF using three compressed air foam backpacks.

No one was injured.
