A train passenger was caught on camera going on an expletive-filled rant about other commuters being "f***ing bastard Chinese" on the morning of Oct 11.

Sharing a video of the incident, Stomper AA was one of the commuters the rant was directed at.

He said he encountered the "angry racist" on the North-East Line from Sengkang to Serangoon MRT station.

The man kept repeating "f***ing bastard Chinese" and said: "Your grandparents all from China. You think you're from Singapore? I'm from Singpore."

At one point, he accused somone of being "yaya papaya".

Asked what triggered the rant, the Stomper said: "I have no idea.

"When we got on the MRT in Sengkang, he was already cursing and we don't even know who it was intended for.

"A Chinese uncle came close to him near Buangkok MRT station, but I also don't understand what he was saying. That was the time I started the video and the old man stood up and made racist remarks."
